November 4, 2023: Midland, LA 70559 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Midland Rebels (Midland, LA) and the visiting Plainview Hornets (Glenmora, LA), saw Midland's basketball squad hold off Plainview by a tally of 56-55.
With the victory, Midland improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Anacoco (Anacoco, LA) to play the Indians in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 7. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Hornets play the Hicks Pirates (Leesville, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, November 6. Plainview will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 50-36 non-league win over Holden (Holden, LA).
