Texas High School Basketball - Georgetown overwhelms Midway
November 4, 2024: Georgetown, TX 78626 The Georgetown Eagles basketball team scored 80 points and limited the visiting Midway Panthers to 47 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Monday.
The Eagles now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Stony Point for a non-league game on Friday, November 15.
With the loss, Midway falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host United South (Laredo, TX) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Thursday, November 7. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 0-1. United South lost 48-46 in their recent non-league game against Judson (Converse, TX)
