November 4, 2024: Vernon, NJ 07462 Vernon Vikings (Vernon, NJ) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Lakeland Regional Lancers (Wanaque, NJ), 5-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Vernon moves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Sparta (Sparta, NJ) to meet the Spartans in a non-league test on Thursday, November 7. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 9-7. Sparta won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Jefferson Township (Oak Ridge, NJ)
The Lancers now sport a 6-11 record.
