Pennsylvania High School Football - Springside Chestnut Hill Academy drops to William Penn Charter
November 5, 2022: Philadelphia, PA 19118 In Saturday's league game, the William Penn Charter Quakers (Philadelphia, PA) football team knocked off the host Springside Chestnut Hill Academy Blue Devils (Philadelphia, PA), by a score of 54-28.
The Quakers (5-4) will now prepare for their game against Germantown Academy (Fort Washington, PA). The Patriots come into the Inter-Academic game with a 6-3 record. In their last game, Germantown Academy was knocked off by Haverford School (Haverford, PA), 20-7, in a league game.
The Blue Devils now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Malvern Prep for a Inter-Academic game on Friday, November 11. Springside Chestnut Hill Academy will battle a Friars team coming off a 14-11 league loss to Episcopal Academy (Newtown Square, PA). The Friars record now stands at 7-2.
