November 5, 2022: Austin, TX 78703 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Coppell Cowboys (Coppell, TX) and the host Austin Maroons (Austin, TX), saw Coppell's basketball squad hold off Austin by a tally of 50-43.
With the victory, Coppell improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Cowboys host Lone Star (Frisco, TX) to confront the Rangers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 8. The Rangers come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Lone Star lost 61-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Mansfield Timberview (Arlington, TX)
Next up, the Maroons confront the Liberty Hill Panthers (Liberty Hill, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 8. Austin will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
