November 5, 2024: Manvel, TX 77578 Manvel Mavericks (Manvel, TX) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Barbers Hill Eagles (Mt. Belvieu, TX), 43-40 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Manvel advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Mavericks travel to Duncanville (Duncanville, TX) to face the Panthers and Pantherettes in a non-league match on Thursday, November 7. The Panthers and Pantherettes enter the match with a record of 2-0. Duncanville won 64-57 in their recent non-league match against Cypress Springs (Cypress, TX)
The Eagles now own a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Shore for a non-league match on Tuesday, November 12.
