In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Old Redford Academy Ravens volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Henry Ford Academy: School for Creative Studies Mustangs.
The Ravens (7-6) will now prepare for their test against Lincoln-King Academy (Detroit, MI). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 13-4 record. In their last test, Lincoln-King Academy nudged Advanced Tech Academy (Dearborn, MI), 3-2, in a non-league test.
The Mustangs now sport a 6-8 record.
