North Carolina High School Soccer - New Hanover held off by Leesville Road
November 6, 2023: Raleigh, NC 27613 The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the Leesville Road Pride (Raleigh, NC) and the visiting New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC), saw Leesville Road's soccer squad get by New Hanover by a count of 1-0.
The Pride now hold a 17-5 record. They play next when they host Cardinal Gibbons for a non-league test on Thursday, November 9. Leesville Road will meet a Crusaders squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Heritage (Wake Forest, NC). The Crusaders record now stands at 12-6.
With the loss, New Hanover drops to 11-10 on the season.
