Kansas High School Soccer - South nudges Blue Valley Southwest
November 6, 2024: Overland Park, KS 66062 Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the South Cougars (Salina, KS) and the host Blue Valley Southwest Timberwolves (Overland Park, KS), saw South's soccer squad hold off Blue Valley Southwest by a count of 1-0.
The Cougars (18-2) will now prepare for their battle against Maize South (Wichita, KS). The Mavericks enter the non-league battle with a 15-2 record. In their last battle, Maize South tipped St. James Academy (Lenexa, KS), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Timberwolves battle the St. James Academy Thunder (Lenexa, KS) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, November 9. Blue Valley Southwest will attempt to upgrade on its 13-1 season record. The Thunder enter the battle with a 10-7 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Maize South (Wichita, KS).
