The Lawrence County Cougars basketball team scored 74 points and limited the visiting Franklin County Bulldogs to 51 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cougars now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Natchez for a non-league game on Tuesday, November 11. Lawrence County will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 72-49 non-league loss to Jim Hill (Jackson, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Franklin County falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Wilkinson County (Woodville, MS) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league test on Tuesday, November 11.
