November 7, 2023: Azle, TX 76020 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Azle Hornets (Azle, TX) and the visiting Weatherford Kangaroos (Weatherford, TX), saw Azle's basketball squad overcome Weatherford by a tally of 47-36.
With the victory, Azle improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Royse City (Royse City, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 9. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Royse City won 59-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Garland (Garland, TX)
Next up, the Kangaroos confront the Abilene Eagles (Abilene, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 14. Weatherford will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 50-35 non-league loss to Georgetown (Georgetown, TX).
