The Mesquite Skeeters basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Pinkston Vikings to 18 in the Skeeters non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Skeeters now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeview Centennial for a non-league contest on Friday, November 10. Mesquite will meet a Patriots team coming off a 53-38 non-league win over Berkner (Richardson, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 3-0.

The Vikings (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Pearce (Richardson, TX). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Pearce triumphed over Cleburne (Cleburne, TX), 65-52, in a non-league contest.
