Poyen Indians (Poyen, AR) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Rison Wildcats (Rison, AR), 75-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Poyen upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Glen Rose (Malvern, AR) to play the Beavers in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 9. The Beavers come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Glen Rose lost 35-31 in their recent non-league bout against White Hall (White Hall, AR)
