The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Hoover Buccaneers (Hoover, AL) and the visiting Murphy Panthers (Mobile, AL), witnessed Hoover's basketball squad prevail over Murphy by a count of 67-52.

With the victory, Hoover advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Buccaneers travel to Vigor (Prichard, AL) to meet the Wolves in a non-league battle on Saturday, November 8. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Faith Academy Rams (Mobile, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 8. Murphy will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.
