November 7, 2025: Simpson, LA 71446 Lacassine Cardinals (Lacassine, LA) backers went home thrilled Friday as they saw their basketball team tip the host Simpson Broncos (Simpson, LA), 53-50 in a non-league contest.
The Cardinals (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Anacoco (Anacoco, LA). The Indians go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Anacoco nipped Florien (Florien, LA), 70-25, in a non-league match.
The Broncos now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hicks for a non-league match on Saturday, November 8. Simpson will face a Pirates squad coming off a 69-35 non-league win over Oak Hill (Hineston, LA). The Pirates record now stands at 2-0.
