In Friday's non-league game, the Maize Eagles (Maize, KS) football squad knocked off the host East Aces (Wichita, KS), by a margin of 58-34.

The Eagles now sport a 10-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Manhattan for a non-league outing on Friday, November 14. Maize will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 45-6 non-league win over Southeast (Wichita, KS). The Indians record now stands at 8-2.

With the defeat, East falls to 5-5 on the year.
