Connecticut High School Football - Seymour sneaks past Naugatuck

November 7, 2025: Seymour, CT 06483

In Friday's league match, the host Seymour Wildcats football squad scored a close 33-28 win over the Naugatuck Greyhounds.

In their next game, the Wildcats play the Waterbury Career Academy Spartans (Waterbury, CT) in a Naugatuck Valley - Tier 1 challenge, on Friday, November 14. Seymour will attempt to upgrade on its 8-0 season record. The Spartans come into the test with a 6-2 record after their 16-12 league loss to Gilbert/Northwestern/Housatonic (Winsted, CT).

With the defeat, Naugatuck drops to 2-5 on the season. The Greyhounds host Torrington (Torrington, CT) to face the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Friday, November 14. The Raiders go into the challenge with a record of 6-2. Torrington won 41-12 in their recent non-league test against Wolcott (Wolcott, CT)
