In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Parkland Matadors basketball team scored a big 60-22 triumph over the Clint Lions.

The Matadors (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Ysleta (El Paso, TX). The Indians enter the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Ysleta overwhelmed Harmony Science Academy (El Paso, TX), 40-21, in a non-league match.

The Lions now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Austin for a non-league match on Tuesday, November 11. Clint will face a Panthers squad coming off a 26-24 non-league win over Fabens (Fabens, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.
