North Carolina High School Basketball - Covenant Classical overwhelms HOPE Academy
November 8, 2021: Concord, NC 28027 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Covenant Classical Warriors (Concord, NC) and the visiting HOPE Academy Royals (Concord, NC), saw Covenant Classical's basketball squad wallop HOPE Academy by a tally of 83-21.
With the victory, Covenant Classical improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Sheets Memorial Christian (Lexington, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 16. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Royals play the St. Anne Catholic Eagles (Rock Hill, SC) in a Metro Area challenge, on Tuesday, November 16. HOPE Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 41-36 league win over Providence Classical (Rock Hill, SC).
