Floyd Central Highlanders (Floyds Knobs, IN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Austin Eagles (Austin, IN), 43-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Floyd Central upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Highlanders host Charlestown (Charlestown, IN) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 10. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Charlestown won 61-29 in their recent non-league bout against Shawe Memorial (Madison, IN)

Next up, the Eagles play the New Washington Mustangs (New Washington, IN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 15. Austin will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
