Texas High School Basketball - Lone Star overwhelmed by Coppell
November 8, 2022: Coppell, TX 75019 The Coppell Cowboys basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the visiting Lone Star Rangers to 36 in the Cowboys non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Cowboys now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highland Park for a non-league contest on Friday, November 11. Coppell will battle a Scots team coming off a 55-45 non-league win over Southlake Carroll (Southlake, TX). The Scots record now stands at 1-0.
The Rangers (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Rockwall (Rockwall, TX). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Rockwall was routed by McKinney (McKinney, TX), 62-39, in a non-league contest.
