November 8, 2024: Scituate, MA 02066 The Scituate Sailors football squad scored 41 points and limited the visiting Melrose Red Raiders to 7 in the Sailors non-league triumph on Friday.
The Sailors now hold a 10-0 record. They take the field next when they host Wayland for a non-league test on Friday, November 15. Scituate will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 48-44 non-league win over Burlington (Burlington, MA). The Warriors record now stands at 8-1.
With the defeat, Melrose drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Red raiders host Wakefield Memorial (Wakefield, MA) to meet the Warriors in a Middlesex - Freedom test on Thursday, November 28. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 5-4. Wakefield Memorial won 37-0 in their recent non-league test against Lynn Classical (Lynn, MA)
