The crowd at Friday's league contest between the New Milford Green Wave (New Milford, CT) and the host Notre Dame Prep Lancers (Fairfield, CT), witnessed New Milford's football squad knock off Notre Dame Prep by a tally of 49-27.

The Green Wave (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Bethel (Bethel, CT). The Wildcats enter the South-West contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Bethel gained a win over Stratford (Stratford, CT), 34-13, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Lancers battle the Stratford Red Devils (Stratford, CT) in a South-West contest, on Friday, November 15. Notre Dame Prep will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Red Devils enter the contest with a 0-8 record after their 34-13 league loss to Bethel (Bethel, CT).
