St. Thomas Aquinas Trojans (Edison, NJ) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting St. Mary Gaels (Rutherford, NJ), 61-6 in a non-league battle.

With the win, St. Thomas Aquinas advances its record to 8-3 on the season. The Trojans travel to Holy Spirit (Absecon, NJ) to encounter the Spartans in a non-league battle on Friday, November 15. The Spartans go into the battle with a record of 8-1. Holy Spirit won 38-0 in their recent non-league battle against Donovan Catholic (Toms River, NJ)

The Gaels now own a 7-4 record.
