The Moapa Valley Pirates volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Elko Indians to 1 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Friday.

The Pirates now have a 25-11 record. They play next when they travel to The Meadows School for a non-league outing on Saturday, November 9. Moapa Valley will play a Mustangs team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Moapa Valley (Overton, NV). The Mustangs record now stands at 19-5.

With the loss, Elko drops to 18-12 on the campaign.
