Aberdeen Bulldogs (Aberdeen, MS) backers went home thrilled Saturday as they saw their basketball team tip the host East Union Urchins (Blue Springs, MS), 65-60 in a non-league contest.

The Bulldogs (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Houlka (Houlka, MS). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Houlka nipped Hickory Flat (Hickory Flat, MS), 73-27, in a non-league match.

The Urchins now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ashland for a non-league match on Tuesday, November 11.
