The Deer Park Deer were victorious over the host Nimitz Cougars basketball squad by a final score of 51-31 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Deer clash with the Barbers Hill Eagles (Mt. Belvieu, TX) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, November 11. Deer Park will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Eagles enter the outing with a 1-1 record after their 57-36 non-league win over Clear Brook (Friendswood, TX).
