The Humphreys County Cowboys defeated the visiting Hartfield Academy Hawks basketball team by a tally of 43-32 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Cowboys now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Brookhaven for a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 11. Humphreys County will play a Panthers team coming off a 48-44 non-league loss to Oak Grove (Hattiesburg, MS). The Panthers record now stands at 0-2.
