November 9, 2021: Plano, TX 75075 John Paul II Cardinals (Plano, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Ponder Lions (Ponder, TX), 62-48 in a non-league bout.
With the win, John Paul II upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Plano East (Plano, TX) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 27. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 2-1.
Next up, the Lions play the Mansfield Summit Jaguars (Arlington, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 11. Ponder will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 67-64 non-league win over Wylie East (Wylie, TX).
