New Jersey High School Soccer - Freehold Township held off by Cherokee
November 9, 2022: Freehold, NJ 07728 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league test between the Cherokee Chiefs (Marlton, NJ) and the host Freehold Township Patriots (Freehold, NJ), saw Cherokee's soccer squad get by Freehold Township by a count of 1-0.
The Chiefs now hold a 15-2 record. They play next when they travel to West Orange for a non-league test on Sunday, November 13. Cherokee will meet a Mountaineers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Westfield (Westfield, NJ). The Mountaineers record now stands at 8-2.
With the loss, Freehold Township drops to 5-2 on the season.
