November 9, 2023: Baytown, TX 77521 In Thursday's league outing, the Sterling Rangers (Baytown, TX) basketball squad edged the visiting Angleton Wildcats (Angleton, TX), by a margin of 49-43.
The Rangers (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Chaparral (Killeen, TX). The Bobcats go into the non-league outing with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, Chaparral held off Plano (Plano, TX), 46-30, in a non-league outing.
The Wildcats now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Westside for a non-league outing on Saturday, November 11. Angleton will clash with a Wolves squad coming off a 58-45 non-league loss to Dickinson (Dickinson, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 1-3.
