In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Bowie Bulldogs basketball team scored a big 55-32 triumph over the Cedar Ridge Raiders.

The Bulldogs (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Leander (Leander, TX). The Lions go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Leander smashed Vista Ridge (Cedar Park, TX), 48-39, in a non-league contest.
