In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Bowie Volunteers basketball team scored a good 57-40 win over the Ennis Lions.

The Volunteers (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Keller Central (Keller, TX). The Chargers come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Keller Central dropped by Mansfield Legacy (Mansfield, TX), 70-44, in a non-league contest.
