Texas High School Basketball - Irving knocks off Polytechnic
November 9, 2024: Fort Worth, TX 76105 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Irving Tigers basketball team scored a good 40-30 win over the Polytechnic Parrots.
The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Ennis (Ennis, TX). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Ennis dropped by Bowie (Arlington, TX), 57-40, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Parrots battle the Nolan Catholic Vikings (Fort Worth, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, November 12. Polytechnic will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Vikings come into the contest with a 4-0 record after their 80-16 non-league win over Coram Deo Academy (Plano, TX).
