Massachusetts High School Football - Stoneham sneaks past Oakmont Regional
November 9, 2024: Stoneham, MA 02180 The Stoneham Spartans football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Oakmont Regional Spartans to 21 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Spartans now sport a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Swampscott for a non-league test on Friday, November 15. Stoneham will meet a Big Blue squad coming off a 28-14 non-league win over Bay Path RVT (Charlton, MA). The Big Blue record now stands at 7-2.
With the defeat, Oakmont Regional drops to 6-3 on the campaign. The Spartans host Lunenburg (Lunenburg, MA) to meet the Blue Knights in a non-league test on Thursday, November 28. The Blue Knights come into the test with a record of 2-7. Lunenburg lost 30-8 in their recent non-league test against Nipmuc Regional (Upton, MA)
