The Murrah Mustangs basketball squad (Jackson, MS), lost 50-40 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Holmes County Central Jaguars (Lexington, MS)

With the victory, Holmes County Central advances its record to 1-1 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Vicksburg (Vicksburg, MS) to encounter the Gators in a non-league test on Tuesday, November 12. The Gators come into the test with a record of 3-0. Vicksburg won 68-51 in their recent non-league test against Horn Lake (Horn Lake, MS)

The Mustangs (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Provine (Jackson, MS). The Rams come into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Provine beat Port Gibson (Port Gibson, MS), 63-45, in a non-league test.
