November 9, 2024: Minnetonka, MN 55345 The Minnetonka Skippers ice hockey team scored 9 points and held the visiting Elk River Elks to 0 in the Skippers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Skippers now own a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Andover for a non-league bout on Thursday, November 14. Minnetonka will play a Huskies team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Academy of Holy Angels (Richfield, MN). The Huskies record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Elk River moves to 0-1 on the season. The Elks host Blaine (Blaine, MN) to play the Bengals in a Northwest Suburban bout on Thursday, November 14. The Bengals go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Blaine won 4-3 in their recent non-league bout against Owatonna (Owatonna, MN)
