November 9, 2024: Burgaw, NC 28425 The Pender Patriots (Burgaw, NC) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Southern Wake Academy Lions (Holly Springs, NC), 9-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Patriots now hold a 19-5 record. They play next when they host Henderson Collegiate for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 12. Pender will encounter a Pride squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over River Mill (Graham, NC). The Pride record now stands at 12-11.
With the loss, Southern Wake Academy falls to 6-11 on the campaign.
