The Marathon Mustangs volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Knox City Greyhounds to 1 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Mustangs now have a 18-5 record. They play next when they travel to Water Valley for a non-league outing on Monday, November 11. Marathon will play a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Aspermont (Aspermont, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 32-6.

With the loss, Knox City drops to 22-16 on the campaign.
