Ohio High School Basketball - Clay holds off Manchester
Clay Panthers (Portsmouth, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Manchester Greyhounds (Manchester, OH), 40-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Clay upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Panthers host Symmes Valley (Willow Wood, OH) to play the Vikings in a Southern Ohio I bout on Friday, December 14. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Greyhounds play the Western Indians (Latham, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 4. Manchester will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
