California High School Basketball - St. Francis tops Golden Valley
December 1, 2021: Merced, CA 95341 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the St. Francis Golden Knights (La Canada, CA) and the host Golden Valley Cougars (Merced, CA), saw St. Francis's basketball squad knock off Golden Valley by a tally of 50-33.
With the victory, St. Francis improves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Golden Knights travel to Granada (Livermore, CA) to play the Matadors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 2. The Matadors come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Granada won 56-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Pleasant Valley (Chico, CA)
Next up, the Cougars play the Pleasant Valley Vikings (Chico, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 2. Golden Valley will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 56-51 non-league loss to Granada (Livermore, CA).
