The Union Mine Diamondbacks basketball team scored 88 points and held the visiting Casa Roble Rams to 70 in the Diamondbacks non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Diamondbacks now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marysville for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. Union Mine will battle a Indians team coming off a 55-51 non-league win over Roseville (Roseville, CA). The Indians record now stands at 2-0.
