Crimson Cliffs Mustangs (Washington, UT) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Payson Lions (Payson, UT), 72-66 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Crimson Cliffs upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Mustangs host Mountain View (Orem, UT) to play the Bruins in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Mountain View lost 86-47 in their recent non-league bout against Dixie (St. George, UT)

Next up, the Lions play the Snow Canyon Warriors (St. George, UT) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 2. Payson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 76-75 non-league win over Salem Hills (Salem, UT).
