The Hudson Pirates basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Union Knights to 54 in the Pirates league triumph on Thursday.

The Pirates now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grand View Christian for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3. Hudson will meet a Thunder team coming off a 57-44 non-league win over Des Moines East (Des Moines, IA). The Thunder record now stands at 1-0.

The Knights (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against East Marshall (Le Grand, IA). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
