December 1, 2022: Martinsville, TX 75958 The Martinsville Pirates basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting West Hardin Oilers to 49 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Pirates now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pineywoods Community Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 1. Martinsville will battle a Timberwolves team coming off a 60-49 non-league loss to Shelbyville (Shelbyville, TX). The Timberwolves record now stands at 2-5.
The Oilers (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Pineywoods Community Academy (Lufkin, TX). The Timberwolves enter the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Pineywoods Community Academy ran past Chireno (Chireno, TX), 48-35, in a non-league contest.
