California High School Basketball - Portola overwhelms Westminster
December 1, 2022: Westminster, CA 92683 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Portola Bulldogs (Irvine, CA) and the host Westminster Lions (Westminster, CA), saw Portola's basketball squad wallop Westminster by a tally of 58-29.
With the victory, Portola improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Servite (Anaheim, CA) to confront the Friars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 3. The Friars come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Servite lost 76-65 in their recent non-league challenge against Brea Olinda (Brea, CA)
Next up, the Lions confront the Ocean View Seahawks (Huntington Beach, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Westminster will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
