Nevada High School Basketball - Fernley nips Pyramid Lake

Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Pyramid Lake Lakers (Nixon, NV), 58-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fernley upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Vaqueros travel to Lassen (Susanville, CA) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Lassen won 59-19 in their recent non-league bout against Sage Ridge (Reno, NV)

Next up, the Lakers play the Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 2. Pyramid Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 45-29 non-league win over Portola (Portola, CA).
