December 1, 2022: Wytheville, VA 24382 The George Wythe Maroons (Wytheville, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Patrick Henry Rebels (Glade Spring, VA), 49-12 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Maroons (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Marion (Marion, VA). The Scarlet Hurricanes go into the non-league test with a 2-1 record.
The Rebels now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Marion for a non-league test on Saturday, December 3. Patrick Henry will encounter a Scarlet Hurricanes squad coming off a 44-38 non-league win over John Battle (Bristol, VA). The Scarlet Hurricanes record now stands at 1-1.
