Hurricane Redskins (Hurricane, WV) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Lincoln County Panthers (Hamlin, WV), 45-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hurricane upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Redskins travel to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Panthers play the Chesapeake Panthers (Chesapeake, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 3. Lincoln County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 54-44 league loss to Rock Hill (Ironton, OH).
