Maine High School Ice Hockey - Cheverus knocks off Brunswick
December 1, 2022: Portland, ME 04103 Fans at Thursday's non-league game between the Cheverus Stags (Portland, ME) and the visiting Brunswick Dragons (Brunswick, ME), observed Cheverus's ice hockey squad defeat Brunswick by a final score of 5-1.
In their next game, the Stags battle the Falmouth Navigators (Falmouth, ME) in a South game, on Saturday, December 3. Cheverus will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record.
With the defeat, Brunswick moves to 0-1 on the season. The Dragons host St. Dominic (Lewiston, ME) to battle the Saints in a North game on Saturday, December 3. The Saints come into the game with a record of 0-1. St. Dominic lost 10-4 in their recent league game against Freeport (Freeport, ME)
